SNSD and Sub Grouping.

I don’t know why people are against it even if it’s just a rumor, and it’s been a rumor for quite sometime. It’s not new.

The concept of sub grouping isn’t new either, and as far as being able to showcase groups with quite a number of members, sub grouping is the way to go.

It’s an experimental type of decision to go with sub grouping, and the fact that they’re not really “splitting” in the real sense, there’s nothing to worry about having them split as a group for good.

What i’m curious to see is if they do push through, at least some of the underrated singers in the group will get their chance to shine, because they’re not trying to share time with 8 other members also singing. like a 5 or 4 person group, you can have at least 1 member sing more than 10 seconds in a 3 minute track which is an improvement, when sometimes, a member will sing only 5 seconds in 1 song.

The concept of sub grouping also expands the possibility of having groups to be able to specify genre or type of singing. like a sub group dedicated to ballad / slow songs, and one specializing in upbeat songs. Endless possibilities.

And at the end of the day, this is still a rumor, and should the sub grouping succeed, then ok, its good, if not, then it’s ok too, since the group is still intact.
